Bagalamukhi is the 8th of the ten Mahavidyas in Hindu tradition, revered as the goddess who paralyzes and silences enemies. Her name comes from "Valga" (to rein in) and "Mukhi" (the mouth) — together describing her power to still an adversary's speech, schemes and actions before they can cause harm.
